Halloween 2007

Well we have had a fun filled Halloween this year. We started by going to Boo at the Zoo on Monday. We went with Jacqueline and Elle and then Jena, Jamie, Blake and Ty met us there. The big boys had so much fun going around getting lots of candy. We even rode the Over the Jumps Carousel. It was nice having Jamie there because he took the boys to the booths to get there candy while the mommies got to stay behind and watch!

On Tuesday my friend Heather came over with her twin girls to help make cookies and cupcakes for Spook City. That night Gran and I took the kids to Spook City downtown. I had to work for an hour at the Junior Auxiliary booth but after I finished my shift we walked around for a little while longer. Our cupcakes were a big success at the bake sale and were some of the first things to sell out!!! We were so proud!

On Wednesday Evan had a Halloween Party at Kids Day Out. He got to dress up and some of the other moms brought cupcakes and snacks. They also got a few little goodies to bring home at the end of the day. Later that night we had a few neighbors down for hot dogs and then headed out for trick or treating. We took Lillie around to a few of the neighbors houses and then she stayed behind with Gran and Grandad to help pass out candy. Evan was a lot of fun this year. He would go up to the houses and growl at the people and yell Trick or Treat. We passed his friend Blake along the way and after that all he wanted to do was to find Blake, so we headed back to the house. Blake soon showed up at our house to take a break and play for a little bit!

We had a fun time this year!
